Work at Work

One thing I’ve gotten away from this past year is making the most of my time to progress in my writing life while at my job. I know, I know. You can’t write a novel at your day job. Or CAN you? 🤔

It’s not entirely my fault, since it’s been too busy to bring a notebook to work. But even then, I could’ve just jotted down notes. And that’s what I’m doing going forward.

Even if it’s a quote to ponder or a goal I want to set, I want to get into the healthy habit of always using my time to the best of my ability. Being mindful of my creativity is another thing I want to work on. But that’s another post.

For now, whether it’s making a list of research ideas, brainstorming, or just writing bits of dialogue, I will strive to make the most of my time at my 9-to-5.

This is my reality. Until I’m able to live off my writing, I will strive to make my writing a part of every facet of my life.

Create and Complete, wolf pack!
