What a day when everything clicks!
I got a good night’s sleep, and if you think sleep doesn’t affect you, you’re dead wrong. I feel great!
I had a wonderful writing day. Working on my second scenario rewrite, I typed in the vein of a storyteller. And I realize that I love this, I am in love with this storytelling thingy, and in love with this idea that I can do this and be this, to offer my stories to readers. I haven’t felt that in a long time. I’m so excited for my future!
Later on, down the south side where I’ll be staying with the folks for a couple days, I went for a walk around my old neighborhood.
In 75° weather, I smiled as I strolled up and down the side streets where I grew up, smiling at the sunshine, and inadvertently taking the same way home that I did thirty years before from my grade school to the house I was raised in.
I haven’t gotten out much these forty plus days so to take in the nature and stillness, the trees and blooming flowers and bushes, I feel like a man who’s just been let out of prison. I can’t wait to get back to society and to people and to nature paths and bike rides. It’s beautiful out and I love life.
I hope you are all well and healthy. We’ll get through this.
